Be a Prisoner of Hope
No one wants to be enslaved whether it's from a job or a job search. In fact Christ died to set us free. But if there is one thing in this world that I will let imprison me, it's Hope. Zechariah 9:12 states, "Return to your fortress, O Prisoners of Hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you". God makes this promise to you also in your job search. It's easy to be troubled, experience anxiety, carry burdens and think negative thoughts that will keep you away from God's promise. Staying positive, trusting that God has you on the right path, being a Prisoner of Hope and doing your part in your job search is the recipe for success.

Gods Role in Your Job Search
Turn your search, and your worries over to God. Sound easy? No, it doesn't. And it is not easy. It is one of the hardest things you will ever learn to do. To believe God knows what is best is easy. But to trust God to do what is best for us is hard. Turning your search, and your life over to God is hard.
We want control - it is human nature. We want the power to control our own destiny instead of relying on God or anyone else to do things for us.
But, if and when you learn to do it, you will find peace. You may not find material riches - or maybe you will. But certainly you will be rich in spirit and that is what counts.
The peace that it brings will help you to concentrate and be productive doing your part - searching for your next job - knowing that God is helping and guiding you.
